Dustin Wilks has lived and breathed fishing since childhood. His only dream growing up was to become a professional angler, a dream he achieved early and pursued at the highest level for more than a decade. After competing against the best in the world on the Bassmaster Elite Series, Dustin shifted gears to start a family and share his gift for teaching others how to catch bass with his TV show Catching Bass with Dustin Wilks.

With a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries from NC State, Dustin blends scientific understanding with real‑world experience. His calm, approachable style and natural enthusiasm make him a standout educator in the fishing world. On camera, he breaks down complex patterns and techniques into simple, repeatable steps that help anglers of all skill levels become more successful.
